Mendota High School is staging a production of The Little Mermaid on March 16, 17 and 18.
There will be a meet and greet with Ariel and all of the Sea Creatures for children to be held on Saturday, March 17 from 1:30-3:00 in the MHS cafeteria.
Ocean delicacies will be served such as Flounder’s Fish and Chips (goldfish, Swedish fish and potato chips), and Ocean Punch (lemonade), along with other treats, including a coloring packet. Children in attendance will be served by Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and all of the Sea Creatures.
A big highlight of the event will be the opportunity to interact with all of the characters. The cafeteria will also become the stage as Sebastian and the Sea Creatures give a special performance of Under the Sea. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take some impromptu pictures. There will also be a special back-drop for some posed shots as well. While parents are encouraged to take pictures, they should be reminded that this event is for the children. Only the children will be seated at the tables…with parents as observers.
Tickets are $10 per child and are available at Sports n Stuff in downtown Mendota (539-6354). We hope that your child will join us for our Under the Sea Party!
