Illinois Valley Community College’s Admissions Office hosts Parent College 101 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 in Room CTC124-125.
This free event is for parents and guardians of current high school students to provide information on the college search process, including topics such as when to start, the difference between certificates and four year degrees, and what to do when a student enrolls.
IVCC’s Assistant Director of Admissions and Records Aseret Loveland said, “Navigating the college enrollment process can be confusing. Our goal is to help make sense of it all not just for IVCC, but any college.”
