PRINCETON – A Chicago man was arrested after meth was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop on I-80 on Tuesday. The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team say that around 8:45 AM they stopped a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Germane M. Flemons of Chicago near milepost 56 in Bureau County. During the stop the TRI-DENT K9 conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and allegedly indicated on an odor of narcotics. During the search Agents reportedly found vacuum sealed packages containing about 7lbs of purported methamphetamine. Flemons was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, a Class X Felony. He was taken to to the Bureau County Jail and is being held on $750,000 bond.
