PERU – A promotion from Shaw Local Radio that had listeners vote online for their favorite animal at the Illinois Valley Animal Rescue raised $250. The “Mutt Madness”, which had adoptable dogs and cats face off in an online voting bracket challenge, was sponsored by Brothers Country Supply and Central Bank Illinois. The month-long event was held at the website for WALLS 102 radio in Oglesby.
