Small Italian town prohibits selfies

PORTOFINO, ITALY —  The mayor of Portofino has claimed that tourists are responsible for ‘anarchic chaos’ and has banned selfies from being taken in two busy locations of the small town.  If caught taking a selfie in those two high-traffic areas, you will face a fine of 275 euros ($302 American dollars).   The restrictions will be in place until October between 10:30 am and 6 pm daily.
