VARNA – A number of road and street signs were recovered last week in Marshall County. On March 25th the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office along with Marshall County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Varna. As a result of the search warrant, numerous road signs and street signs were allegedly recovered from the garage of the residence. Authorities say they believe that there are more individuals who may be in possession of road or street signs. They also noted that the matter will be turned over to the Putnam and Marshall County State’s Attorney’s Offices for a review of charges.
