MENDOTA – In an attempt to prevent teacher and student burnout, Mendota schools announced a schedule change that will take place for elementary and high school students upon their return from winter break. Starting in January, the last Friday of every month will be a 1:30 PM dismissal for staff and students. Both districts will be encouraging students and staff to use the time to rest, relax, and recharge.
On the planned early dismissal days, normal AM preschool students will not be in session. Instead, normal PM students may choose to attend from 8:15-10:45am
