OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department reported that the county’s COVID-19 Risk Metric has been moved to orange. In a media release on Friday, the health department said they’ve seen a “concerning” rise in the number of coronavirus cases and that the 7-day positivity rate has risen above 8%. The LCHD recommends that anyone who has recently attended a large event to monitor themselves for symptoms and remind residents of the importance of a flu shot.
