MENDOTA- Both sides are slated to come back to the table on Wednesday in an attempt to settle the strike that has kept some Mendota students out of school a week. Tuesday it was announced that the Mendota Teachers Union, the District 289 Board, and the mediator will get together at 4 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The children who attend Blackstone, Lincoln and Northbrook Schools have not been in class since the strike began last week.
