MENDOTA – Residents of Mendota, Streator and surrounding areas will have increased access to urgent care facilities this fall. Beginning Monday, OSF PromptCare will open their doors in Mendota, adjacent to existing OSF primary care offices. The Streator site is scheduled to open at OSF HealthCare Center for Health upon completion of renovations in early December. The new urgent care clinic will be available to anyone, regardless of whether or not they are an existing OSF patient. Both types facilities are designed to treat minor illnesses and injuries including cold or flu, minor burns, sprains and certain infections.
