OTTAWA – LaSalle County Board members honored county clerk Joann Carretto at their Thursday meeting. She first started working for the LaSalle County Clerks Office in October of 1978, becoming chief deputy clerk. Carretto was elected county clerk in 2006. She is stepping down after 39 years of service to focus instead on her personal life and health.
