SPRING VALLEY – The new Route 89 bridge, is dedicated after Illinois Valley Veterans. The Spring Valley Boat Club held a ceremony Thursday morning with the Illinois Department of Transportation to honor veterans announcing the structures new name, the Illinois Valley Veterans Memorial Bridge. Illinois Transportation Secretary Randy Blankenhorn says the bridge is a tremendous monument for the men and women of our military and fitting in serving the community for years to come.
